Perspectives from the Global South have rarely figured in academic debates.

The book highlights Pakistan Left Review, a short-lived journal set up by progressive intellectuals of Pakistani origin based in London.

The index is constructed using a method co-created by ODID’s Professor Sabine Alkire.  

The award recognises the exceptional scale, diversity and intellectual depth of her career as a doctoral supervisor.

The book draws on his doctoral work at ODID.
