ODID's digital diplomacy researchers recognised in #SODD16 review
Corneliu Bjola, Associate Professor of Diplomatic Studies at ODID, has been named the top scholar in digital diplomacy in 2016 by #SODD16, in one of a number of awards recognising ODID's digital diplomacy researchers.
#SODD16 is a review of the year 2016 and identification of its top performers carried out by Diplomacy.Live, a research hub that analyses the digital diplomacy sphere.
DPhil Ilan Manor was named blogger of the year and the Oxford Digital Diplomacy Research Group was named research group of the year.
Dr Bjola's article 'Digital diplomacy – the state of the art' in Global Affairs was named best academic article of the year.
Ilan's article 'Are we there yet: Have MFAs realized the potential of digital diplomacy?' in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy was named best review article.
