Confronting the coronavirus pandemic at ODID

As the UK lockdown in response to the coronavirus pandemic continues, the ODID building remains closed. However, we continue our activity in new ways.

All teaching for Trinity term has moved online; we have a series of exciting digital events planned for the term; and our academics are providing analysis and initiating new research projects to help further our understanding of the implications of the pandemic. We believe strongly that bringing a development perspective to current discussions and future debates is vital.

You can read the latest commentary on our new Development in the time of Coronavirus forum page; our Events page will be updated shortly once timings for our new series are confirmed.

Meanwhile, full information on how the University is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic can be found here and information for ODID staff can be found on our intranet

Our main priority is the health of our staff and students and we also extend our best wishes to our broader community of alumni and friends. Please do not hesitate to contact the Head of Department or our Communication Officer if you have any questions.
