Amartya Sen to Lecture on Discovery of Women June 6
Amartya Sen, Nobel laureate in Economics and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University, will lecture on the subject of ‘Discovery of Women’ at the Sheldonian Theatre on 6 June.
The event, which is hosted by the Oxford Department of International Development's Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), will be chaired by the Rt Hon Lord Patten of Barnes, Chancellor of Oxford University.
The lecture starts at 5 pm and is free and open to the public.
