Yomna Gaafar, a Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 honoree, has worked across leading policy and research institutions, including the IMF, Atlantic Council, World Bank, and the UN, on structural reform and institutional effectiveness. With specialized data expertise, empirical analysis, and rigorous evidence-based approaches, her work focuses on strengthening economic policy frameworks, enhancing productivity, and advancing data-driven policy design and reform transitions.
She holds dual master’s degrees from Columbia University and the London School of Economics with concentrations in International Economic Policy and Quantitative Analysis & Data Analytics. Combining empirical and data-driven quantitative methods with institutional and economic policy insight, her research examines policy instruments and the interplay between institutional configurations, policy design, and effectiveness.
