Lorraine Watling

Lorraine is an experienced project manager and administrator who has undertaken a wide range of administration roles. She initially worked at the Harwell Research Centre and whilst there designed and submitted proposals to the European Commission (EC). She then managed the resulting projects within Europe.

She has led international consortiums and, after leaving Harwell, was employed as an expert project evaluator for the EC on multiple occasions. Between July 2018 and December 2019 she worked as a project manager for the Department of Engineering, where she managed two substantial projects on a fixed term contract.

In addition to her University work Lorraine works as a local government clerk and responsible financial officer serving the interests of two local communities.
