Two new papers have been published in the ODID Working Paper Series.

ODID Working Paper 202, 'Understanding Crisis-Induced Change in Global Governance: The Diplomatic Management of the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009' by Ivaylo Iaydjiev examines how global crises, such as the global financial crisis, lead to change in global governance institutions. Ivaylo was a student on the MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy in 2012-13.

ODID Working Paper 203, 'Does Shelter Assistance Reduce Poverty in Afghanistan?' by Craig Loschmann, Christopher R Parsons and Melissa Siegel assesses the UNHCR post-return shelter assistance programme in Afghanistan between 2009 and 2011.
