Elisa is a DPhil candidate in Migration Studies, exploring the links between migration, development, and health. Her research examines how migrants transfer ideas and information related to health and how this may impact health-related behaviour and outcomes across their networks.
Elisa works for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) team in Berlin. She has worked in migration research and policy for ten years, including in various parts of IOM and for the World Health Organisation (WHO). Elisa holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
