Yomna Gaafar, a 2023 Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 honoree from Egypt, has built a career across leading institutions such as the IMF, Atlantic Council, World Bank, and the UN, among others, consistently championing transformative economic development. Her work focuses on advancing sustainable policies that support the growth and resilience of emerging economies.

Academically, Yomna holds dual master's degrees from Columbia University and the London School of Economics, specializing in International Economic Policy and Quantitative Analysis & Data Analytics. Her research concentrates on the political economy of energy subsidies, aiming to address the challenges and opportunities in transitioning toward more sustainable energy practices in the Middle East.
