World Disasters Report Edited by Roger Zetter Launched

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' (IFRC) World Disasters Report 2012, edited by the former Refugee Studies Centre director Professor Roger Zetter, launched this week.

The 20th edition focuses on forced migration and displacement. It discusses the contemporary causes and consequences of forced migration associated with different displacement situations (conflicts, natural and technological hazards, development) and their impact on the health, dignity and rights of migrants.

Other RSC contributors to the report include Dr Nando Sigona, Dr Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh and Maurice Herson.
