ODID to Take Part in LiveFriday at Ashmolean on 15 May

Researchers from across the Social Sciences division will be taking part in the next LiveFriday event at the Ashmolean Museum, titled Social Animals. The Ashmolean will throw open its doors for an evening of live performances, creative workshops and lively talks examining what makes people and societies tick.

ODID will be taking part through:

  • A performance-experience centred around migration, exclusion and discrimination from the International Migration Institute (IMI)
  • Interactive activities exploring dietary diversity around the world from Young Lives
  • An exhibition of photographs by and about refugees courtesy of the Refugee Studies Centre (RSC) and UNRWA
  • A live performance exploring the multidimensional nature of poverty from the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) with Oxford-based theatre company Justice in Motion
