ODID Open Evening October 24

The Oxford Department of International Development will hold an open evening for undergraduates interested in any of our courses on Thursday 24 October from 4 to 6 pm.

Many students starting on their final year at university may be thinking of a career in development – whether in an international agency, a government department, an NGO or social enterprise – and these jobs often require postgraduate specialist training.

ODID offers a wide range of postgraduate courses in development studies, development economics, global governance, migration and refugee studies.

The open evening will include a brief presentation about the Department, descriptions of the courses given by Course Directors and some current students. These will be followed by a Q&A, and a reception from approximately 5:15-6 pm, with a tour of the Department available.

The event, which takes place in Seminar Room 1, is open to all but please email denise.watt@qeh.ox.ac.uk if you would like to attend.
