ODID academics and DPhils to present at DSA 2023
ODID academics and DPhils will be presenting at the Development Studies Association annual conference, which starts today and this year takes the theme "Crisis in the Anthropocene: Rethinking connection and agency for development".
- Professor Cheryl Doss willl chair a panel on Feminist approaches to household water security and Dr Marya Hillesland will present a paper to the panel on Land rights and improved access to water and rural women’s livelihood strategies in Kilifi County, Kenya
- Dr Albert Sanghoon Park will convene a panel on Translating resilience policies for sustainable development and effective climate action and present a paper on Resilience and regional governance: The case of ASEAN and the post-2025 agenda
- Professor Xiaolan Fu will present a paper on Digital Technology and Inclusive Development During Global Crisis: Evidence from A Randomised Experiment in Bangladesh
- DPhil Aparna Agarwal will contribute to a Roundtable on South Asian Narratives of the Anthropocene with Anthropocene and Waste Crisis: Understanding Human and Non-human Relations at the Bhalswa Landfill in Delhi
The hybrid conference takes place at the University of Reading from 28-30 June.
