Associate Professor Nikita Sud will take part in a discussion about the UK's relationship with India and China as part of events for this year's University Alumni Weekend this month.

The UK is hungry for more investment from Asia, and the red carpet treatment for visiting leaders has yielded billions of pounds in trade deals. In this talk, Professor Sud and Professor Rana Mitter of the China Centre will share their expertise about the UK’s strategic relationships with India and China, and their predictions for the future.

The discussion, Wooing India and China: are the UK’s charm offensives working?, takes place on 18 September and will also be published in Oxford Today.

Find out more about the talk.

The Meeting Minds Alumni Weekend runs in Oxford from 16-18 September.
