DPhil Student Contributes Chapter to IMF Book on Indonesia and Global Volatility
ODID DPhil Student Edo Mahendra has contributed a chapter to a new book published by the IMF entitled Indonesia: Sustaining Growth During Global Volatility. The chapter,'Corporate Governance and Leverage Trends', discusses the effect of corporate governance on corporate financing in Indonesia, especially before the global financial crisis took place in 2008. The chapter was jointly written with R. Armando Morales (IMF) and Wiwit Widyastuti (Bank Indonesia).
The book, which is edited by Thomas Rumbaugh of the IMF, examines how recent global volatility has affected Indonesia and how Indonesia has responded to these challenges.
