For this reason, the University has made available resources to enable you to grow in your role or as a line manager.

People and Organisational Development

The University provides a People and Organisational Development (POD) programme to help individuals with their professional and personal development.

POD provide a range of learning and development opportunities for all staff groups. It offers support to managers on individual and team development solutions and on achieving change at the group or departmental level.

POD offers three different types of training: e-learning, workshop and programme.

  • e-Learning can be carried out online at your own time.
  • A workshop is a one-day training conducted either online or face-to-face with a fixed schedule.
  • A programme takes place for more than one day and is conducted either online or face-to-face with a fixed schedule.

You can view the full list of available courses here.

During your first day the HR team will guide you through the content and will recommend relevant training for your post.
