The Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) is a development economics research centre based at the University of Oxford, with researchers in the Oxford Department of International Development, the Blavatnik School of Government, and the Department of Economics. Founded in 1986, the CSAE has been researching Economic Development in Africa for 40 years. Today, their large team of development economists research not only countries in Africa, but also in other areas of the world.
