Humaira Hansrod

Research Student

Humaira Hansrod is a small-time economist passionate about women's economic empowerment in the 'bottom billion' and developing world. She has a dual-major degree in Economics and Political Science from The City College of New York under the prestigious Macaulay Honors scholarship and Colin Powell fellowship.

Previously a Fulbright Fellow in Oman, she has travelled extensively in the Middle East and North Africa for research and studies.

After completing a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy at The Fletcher School (Tufts University), she moved to South Africa for two years where she was an independent consultant and mediator in Johannesburg on local and cross-border investment projects.
