The department is a lively community that is recognised internationally as one of the top centres for research and teaching in development studies.
Emily joined the Young Lives team as Programme Manager in February 2021.
She will have specific responsibility for the financial and administrative management of the Young Lives at Work programme in addition to other projects, working closely with the Project Management team and Principal Investigators.
She comes to us following nine years at MSI Reproductive Choices, a sexual and reproductive health and rights INGO, where she worked in senior programme management across both donor and regional support teams, in addition to heading up their projects team in Malawi looking after large scale FCDO grants amongst other projects. Most recently, she returned to the UK to manage their global portfolio of Canadian and European funding.
Emily holds an MA in Arabic from Edinburgh University and is a trained Mental Health First Aider.
