Arushi Sharan
Arushi's academic training has been in Political Science, and she completed her BA (Honours) in this discipline from University of Delhi, and her MA from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Thereafter, she worked at Ashoka University in the state of Haryana, India, as a Teaching Fellow, as a researcher with the Trivedi Centre for Political Data, and then as a Research Guide with the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) programme.
Arushi's DPhil research project at ODID pertains to studying state-business relations at the level of urban local governance, and in the context of urban development in contemporary India. Her academic interests, more generally, include the political economy of development, political institutions, and public policy.
