Valpy FitzGerald Appointed to Independent Commission for Reform of International Corporate Taxation

Valpy FitzGerald, Emeritus Professor of International Development Finance at ODID, has recently been appointed as a member of the Independent Commission for the Reform of International Corporate Taxation

The Commission is chaired by Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, and includes José Antonio Ocampo (former finance minister of Colombia), Eva Joly (France, MEP), and Govinda Rao (India, Finance Commission) among other 'leaders of government, academia and civil society'

The Commission is tasked with working for 'an international tax system that works for all people'.

Valpy was Head of Department at ODID between 2007 and 2012.
