Professor Xiaolan Fu, director of the Technology and Management for Development Centre (TMD) at ODID, recently visited Emory University as the invited Pierce Visiting Scholar.

She gave a public lecture discussing China's interaction with the world economy and global economic recovery at The Halle Institute for Global Studies, Emory University.

The event was co-hosted by the Halle Institute, the Pierce Visiting Scholar Program, the Carter Centre China Program, and the Confucius Institute in Atlanta. She also gave a public lecture at Emory University's Oxford College.
