The awarding committee were impressed in particular by the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from students in relation to Dr Manokha's two option courses in ‘Global Political Economy’ and ‘Surveillance and Human Rights in the Digital Age’, and the foundation course in MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy, saying the feedback 'showed a clear ability to engage students with the material at hand'.

Dr Manokha is Departmental Lecturer in International Political Economy at ODID. 

The Social Sciences Division run a teaching excellence recognition scheme each year. The scheme formally recognises the outstanding contribution to teaching and learning and the academic development of students shown by colleagues across the Division.
