Geoff Goodwin speaks on water research at AgroCultures conference in Brazil
Departmental Lecturer Geoff Goodwin gave a talk based on his research into the construction of a new water regime in Ecuador at a conference in Porto Velho, Brazil in August.
The conference was organised by transnational network AgroCultures and focused on ‘The Agrocultural Frontiers of the Amazon: Contested Histories, Emerging Cultures, National Territorialities’.
The next AgroCultures conference will take place in Oxford on 31 January and 1 February 2020 entitled ‘Amazon – Rising Violence and Disturbing Trends’.
