Laura will introduce the series by linking it to ODID’s work on climate and development (see
https://www.qeh.ox.ac.uk/climate-change-and-challenges-development). She will also talk about her work as an anthropologist and a Latin Americanist in Brazil and Ecuador, two countries that have championed alternative approaches to development.
