The department is a lively community that is recognised internationally as one of the top centres for research and teaching in development studies.
Olivia joined Forced Migration Review in March 2022. Before joining FMR, she was a Senior Communications Officer at ODI, and prior to that held strategic policy and communications roles within the NGO and public sector, including at the European Commission, Street Child, the British Red Cross and UNHCR.
She holds an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and an MA in Modern European Languages from the University of Edinburgh.
