The department is a lively community that is recognised internationally as one of the top centres for research and teaching in development studies.
Nicola Hartwell joined the Young Lives team as Programme Officer in August 2021.
Nicola provides support to the management of the Young Lives programme, with a focus on the current portfolio of Young Lives research grants. She works collaboratively with the Project Management team and Principal Investigators to coordinate general administration, financial management and reporting across the projects.
Nicola comes to us following five years at the Saïd Business School where she worked as Programme Manager for the Executive Degree Programmes, particularly the School’s world-class flagship Executive MBA programme.
Nicola holds an MSc in Applied Human Nutrition where she focused on infant and child nutrition. She also obtained a BSc in Nutrition and Health from Oxford Brookes University.
