Nat is committed to developing innovative evidence-based solutions to international development challenges. His academic research occurs at the intersection of three fields: microeconomics, social entrepreneurship, and international development.
Outside of the academic arena, Nat is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of 180 Degrees Consulting, the world's largest consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises, with offices in 31 countries and over 5,000 consultants worldwide. Each year 180 Degrees works with over 800 hundreds socially conscious organizations to help them to operate more effectively and have a greater social impact (www.180dc.org).
Nat is a Rhodes Scholar, Visiting Fellow at Princeton, Goldman Sachs Global Leader, St Gallen Leader of Tomorrow, and World Economic Forum Global Shaper. He was the Top MBA Student at Oxford, received the Convocation Medal for Best All-Rounder at Sydney University (1/50,000 students), and received the University Medal for Best Economics and Business Student at Sydney University.
He has swum the English Channel, completed a full Ironman Triathlon, and received the highest scoring speech at the World Debating Championships (1/7200 speeches). He has also given three TEDx talks related to social entrepreneurship and international development.
