The department is a lively community that is recognised internationally as one of the top centres for research and teaching in development studies.
Marta manages the HR team at ODID, oversees all core HR processes and projects involving the recruitment, management and development of our people, and provides support to managers and employees in all matters regarding human resources.
Marta has several years of experience in human resources, working for international businesses in the private and public sectors. Prior to joining ODID, Marta worked at the School of Archaeology in a similar role and for the Social Science Divisional Office focusing on HR projects and data analysis.
Marta holds an MSc in Human Resources Management from Oxford Brookes University as well as an MSc and a BSc in Work, Social and Communication Psychology from the University of Padua. She is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD Level 7).
