The department is a lively community that is recognised internationally as one of the top centres for research and teaching in development studies.
Edo has a master’s degree in Public Management and Governance (Zeppelin University, 2011) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics (University of Indonesia, 2007).
Prior to starting his research degree in ODID, he worked as research assistant at the International Monetary Fund's Jakarta Office (2007-09) and served as tutor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (2005-09).
He did an internship at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Jakarta, Indonesia (2006) and had a summer stint at the Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim, Germany (2010) as research intern. He also attended the Financial Programming and Policies course at the IMF Singapore Regional Training Institute (2008).
