15-Min Flash Talk: Renewable Energy and Refugees: Is Energy the Missing Piece?
Join us for the first episode of ODID Flash Talks: a new series where a speaker gets 15 minutes to present on their research, fieldwork, or work experience.
The majority of refugees have very limited access to energy to light their homes, cook their food or power their businesses. But displacement trends are increasing, and crises are lasting well beyond five years. What does this mean for sustainable planning for displaced people?
This talk is presented by Sarah Rosenberg-Jansen, DPhil student in International Development.
The short talk will be followed by a Q&A, a light lunch and socialising in the Hall.
All welcome to this free event. A light lunch is provided.
