CSIA conference explores future of Salafism
The Changing Structures of Islamic Authority project is hosting a three-day conference on the Future of Salafism.
The conference brings together established scholars, post-doctoral researchers, as well as doctoral students offering original insights into how Salafi thought, and the diverse set of groups inspired by it, are evolving in different contexts in light of the post-Arab Spring developments and the changes unfolding within Saudi Arabia.
The conference is taking place at ODID and is co-sponsored by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS)
