Research and Programme Assistant
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Research and Programme Assistant for the research programme on Structural Transformation and Economic Growth (STEG). Further information on the project can be found in the job description below.
Based in the Oxford Department of International Development, the postholder will provide research support and light administrative duties for Professor Gollin and colleagues pertaining to their work on the STEG programme. This will involve quantitative research and work on specific research projects, as well as the day-to-day handling of STEG workflow such as reading and commenting on grant proposals, writing research briefs, and producing reports for the funder. The post is full-time and fixed-term for 6 months, starting as soon as possible.
You should have a first degree and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in development economics to understand the work of the STEG research programme. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to manage your own research and administrative activities, excellent communication skills and experience of following and adapting methodologies
