Financial constraints, development, and migration: the role of social policy and financial development

In his dissertation on international migration determinants, Edo attempts to achieve four objectives: (i) To test existing migration theories, (ii) To assess the impact of migration policies, as well as other general public policies, (iii) To disentangle the interplay between migration and development, and (iv) To bring together economic and non-economic determinants of migration in systematic analysis.

In order to achieve this, Edo utilizes multidisciplinary applied-quantitative methods that would provide theory-grounded empirical exercises.
