The Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD) is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Officer to undertake original research in the area of digital economy to examine the role of artificial intelligence in innovation and technology investment and lead on related impact acceleration activities.

Reporting to Professor Xiaolan Fu the Senior Research Officer will be a member of the Technology & Management Centre for Development (TMCD) research group based in the Oxford Department of International Development.

The post holder will hold a Ph.D/D.Phil in technology studies, innovation management, computer science, or computational social sciences with substantial post-qualification research experience. They will have proven research experience and track record in the area of digital economy, especially regarding the role of artificial intelligence in innovation and technology investment. They will also have an established (inter)national reputation and publication record.

This post is a part time (7.5 hours, 20% FTE) and fixed-term for 12 months.
