Sharon Horder

Sharon joined the Young Lives team as Programme Officer in February 2024.

Sharon provides support to the programme management of Young Lives, with a focus on the current portfolio of Young Lives research grants. She works collaboratively with the Project Management team and Principal Investigators to coordinate general administration, financial management and reporting across the projects.

She has a background in programme coordination and support roles in the International Development sector. Previously she has worked for the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) on their Somaliland programme, and for ActionAid UK and International. Before joining the Young Lives team, Sharon worked for the Graduate Admission and Recruitment department of the University of Oxford.

Sharon holds an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS.
