TMCD co-hosts second China-UK Innovation and Development Forum
ODID’s Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD) co-hosted the second China-UK Innovation and Development Forum in London on 6 December to facilitate discussions on recent developments in science, technology and innovation, and their impact on economic and social development in China and the UK.
The theme of this year's forum was 'Driving Growth and Addressing Challenges Together'. Discussions at the half-day dialogue focused on three sub-themes: collaboration between academic institutions and businesses; emerging technologies and advanced manufacturing; and financial technologies and future digital services
This event was organised by TMCD in collaboration with Innovate UK, the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), the Institute of Sciences and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD) and the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development (CASTED) of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China. It took place at the Institute of Directors.
The inaugural forum was held in November 2016.
