Three ODID Academics Become Professors in Recognition of Distinction Exercise

The Department is very proud to announce that the following three colleagues have been awarded Professorships in the 2010-11 Recognition of Distinction exercise (in alphabetical order): Chris Adam (Professor of Development Economics); Jo Boyden (Professor of International Development); Dawn Chatty (Professor of Anthropology and Forced Migration). These titles came into effect retrospectively from 1 October 2010.

Only 25 people in the Social Sciences Division gained this distinction which indicates the high research standing of ODID.

I would like to congratulate them on behalf of all their colleagues for this achievement.
