Rosana Pinheiro-Machado Appointed Columnist for Brazilian Magazine CartaCapital

Rosana Pinheiro-Machado, Departmental Lecturer in the Anthropology of Development at ODID, has been appointed a columnist for Brazil's CartaCapital magazaine.

CartaCapital is one of Brazil's leading magazines covering politics and economics. Its 30 columnists include Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman, former finance ministers Ciro Gomes and Delfim Netto as well as Professor Vladimir Safatle of the University of São Paolo. The magazine is also the official partner of the UK's Economist magazine and Observer newspaper in Brazil. Rosana is among just two women columnists for the magazine and will write on anthropology, politics and Brazilian development.

Rosana also writes a blog on Brazilian politics which in 2013 was twice in the top 15 in terms of worldwide access on Wordpress in Portuguese. She is also a contributor to Huffington Post Brazil.
