Recent ODID Graduate Named One of UK's Top Ten Black Students
We are delighted to announce that Ré Phillips, who graduated from the MPhil in Development Studies this year, has been named one of the top ten black students in the UK.
She was presented with the accolade at the 2013 Rare Rising Stars award ceremony at the House of Commons. Ré was commended for her political activism and artistic contributions in the Palestine-Israel conflict, cultural preservation in the Sudan, and human rights activism in India and China.
