OPHI Launches New Projects with Chad Government, ECLAC

The Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) is partnering with the Government of Chad and UNICEF-Chad on a new study to explore the multi-layered connections between poverty and vulnerability in Chad.

The project involves a nationally representative household survey using OPHI’s survey modules on five ‘missing dimensions of poverty data’ to help better understand the hidden links behind persistent deprivations in Chad.

OPHI has also formed a partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC/CEPAL) to help develop and implement initiatives to promote the adoption of multidimensional poverty measurement methods in Latin America and the Caribbean.
