ODS Sanjaya Lall Prizes Awarded to Francesco Burchi, Sara Vicari, Indrajit Roy

We are delighted to announce the Oxford Development Studies Sanjaya Lall Prize Winners for 2013/14.

The ODS Sanjaya Lall Prize 2014 for the best article published in the last annual volume is awarded to Francesco Burchi and Sara Vicari for their article 'To Be or Not to Be a Member of a Primary Co-operative in Brazil: Any Difference in Household Decision-Making and Gender Equality?ODS 42 (3): 343-64.

The ODS Sanjaya Lall Student Prize 2013/14 for the best article written by a then-student and published in one of the last two annual volumes is awarded to Indrajit Roy for his article 'Development as Diginity: Dissensus, Equality and Contentious Politics in Bihar, India’, ODS 41 (4): 517-36.

The prizes are awarded in honour of the late Sanjaya Lall, formerly Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford and Managing Editor of the journal.
