ODS Sanjaya Lall Prize 2012 Awarded to Mehrene Larudee
The Oxford Development Studies Sanjaya Lall Prize 2012 has been awarded to Mehrene Larudee for her article entitled "Measuring Openness: VADE, Not Trade" published in ODS 40 (1): 119-137.
The Sanjaya Lall Prize is awarded annually for the best article published in the previous year's volume. ODS also awards a £1,000 prize every other year for the best article published by a student in the previous two volumes. The winner of that prize will be announced shortly.
The prizes are named in honour of the late Sanjaya Lall, who was Professor of Economics at Oxford University and formerly Managing Editor of ODS. All past prize-winning articles are currently freely available on the Taylor and Francis website.
