New Young Lives Research Programme on Child Marriage in India, Early Education in Ethiopia

We are delighted to announce that Young Lives has been awarded new funding from the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation for a research and policy programme on child marriage in India and early education in Ethiopia.

The funding will enable the Young Lives team to carry out further analysis of its existing longitudinal dataset and to work with government in India and Ethiopia to evaluate the findings for their impact, cost-effectiveness and scalability.

Young Lives is an international study of childhood poverty following the changing lives of 12,000 children in Ethiopia, India (in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), Peru and Vietnam over 15 years. It is led from ODID.
