Joerg Friedrichs has been invited as visiting faculty for the Harvard Summer School 2012. Joerg will teach a seminar on The Politics of Non-governmental Organisations, which is one of the options he offers on ODID's MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy. He will also pursue his own research while at Harvard.

Founded in 1871, the Harvard Summer School is the oldest summer school in the US. It is run annually over a period of seven weeks and offers some 300 courses taught by Harvard professors and visiting scholars from academic institutions around the world. About 20 per cent of the students enrolled are Harvard students.
