The real deal with land deals: consensus building, women's autonomy and individual wellbeing in Gujarat, India

My thesis explores the political economy of land transfers in India, particularly when and how land changes hands and who the winners and losers of the complex process are. An important component of the study is to measure the impact of land transfers on human wellbeing, with particular emphasis on women.
