A multidimensional approach to understanding Chinese HIV civil organisations

This thesis will examine the development of HIV-related agencies in Mainland China and how they have begun to re-organise themselves following some environmental changes in the last few years connected to funding and government support.

Based on qualitative interview-based studies, it will consider new market-based mechanisms for sustainability within this sector and compare agencies between different cities in China.
