Business power and agency in global governance
This project makes the link between industry structures, business power and regulatory outcomes. Not unlike past studies that have shown business power to vary with different national political systems or different economic climates, this book links business power to the characteristics of different industries. In other words, industry characteristics impact upon business power relative to would-be regulators – either from the state, industry or civil society – and these power relations influence the character of the regulatory institutions that emerge.
